Trump DOJ Wastes No Time After Judges Pull Deportation Move
Eleven thirty-six p.m. Stay dissolved. A flight of 70 convicted aliens canceled.
Summary
- The Daily Wire reports Solicitor General D. John Sauer filed an urgent Thursday application asking the Supreme Court to pause a Massachusetts judge's ruling that vacated DHS third-country removal policy after the 1st Circuit, at 11:36 p.m. Wednesday, dissolved its own stay without letting the government respond.
- This is the third trip to the justices in the same class action. A February ruling by a Massachusetts federal judge vacated the policy. The 1st Circuit stayed that ruling in March, then a three-judge panel largely affirmed it on Sept. 18. The formal mandate is not due until at least Nov. 9.
- DHS said the snap-back forced cancellation of a flight carrying 70 convicted criminal aliens bound for three countries, and officers pulled nearly 150 migrants off removal flights to at least four nations. Another flight carrying 58 people to four countries was still scheduled.
- DHS reports 7,257 third-country removals to Mexico since January 2025 and 1,432 convicted criminals awaiting third-country removal. Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned in a sworn declaration that the lower-court actions will cause significant and irreparable harm to U.S. foreign policy.
Commentary
A night-shift dad still smells jet fuel on a removal ramp and knows 11:36 p.m. is supposed to mean a wheels-up stamp, not a stay dissolved in the dark that leaves 70 convicted seats on the ground. He did not pay the levy so a November mandate could cancel tonight's flight.
11:36 p.m. 70 canceled. 150 pulled. 1,432 still waiting. The vinyl chair in that ICE ready room still holds the honest household that already bought the cuff.
Look every working father who still clocks a night ramp in the eye and answer this: if 70 convicted seats already died at 11:36 p.m., who still owns the next 1,432 files waiting on a dark-of-night stay?
Comments
11:36 p.m. 70 canceled. 150 pulled. Keep those three stamps.
I stood a gate so a removal ramp still meant wheels-up. A dark-of-night stay is not a weather report.
Third SCOTUS trip. Sept. 18 panel. Mandate Nov. 9. Print the three.
Allied ramps still treat a third-country refusal as a breach, not a courtesy hold.
7,257 to Mexico. 1,432 criminals waiting. Rubio declaration. File the three.
I still smell jet fuel at 2 a.m. I want the next 70-seat bird empty of a cancel stamp.
A convicted-alien flight is not a vibe. It is a warning the street already paid.
An 11:36 p.m. dissolve next to 1,432 waiting files is a second border around every honest ramp.
Daily Wire printed 11:36 p.m., 70, and 1,432. Argue those nouns.
Hold the Sauer ask. Keep the flights. A dark-of-night stay is not a souvenir.
