Seven noncitizens charged in North Texas election-integrity investigation
Six indictments on September 10. A seventh the next day. One already had a passport-lie felony.
Summary
- Fox News reports U.S. Attorney Ryan Raybould said six defendants were indicted in the Northern District of Texas on September 10 and a seventh was charged by complaint the next day in a noncitizen-voting probe ahead of the midterms.
- Federal agents arrested six in the Dallas-Fort Worth area over the following days. A seventh, treated as a fugitive, surrendered. Raybould said one illegal alien from Mexico was already a 2023 felon for lying on a passport application and then voted anyway.
- Just the News reports Texas AG Ken Paxton named Carlos Salas Barrios of Mexico and Joshua Nmelichukwu Akpom of Nigeria among the seven, with others from India, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Mexico charged with voting as an alien and false citizenship statements to register. Paxton said the alleged votes were in the 2024 presidential election.
- Senate Democrats Chuck Schumer and Alex Padilla publicized an anonymous DHS whistleblower complaint about the Unlawful Voter Initiative. A DHS spokesperson told Fox the department used publicly available state voter rolls cross-checked against known aliens. Raybould said HSI has a right to those databases and that prosecutors do not care which candidate received the ballot.
Commentary
A Fort Worth dad still wipes grit off a ballot stub and knows a vote is supposed to be a citizen's one shot. He did not stand in that line so a passport liar could get a second try.
September 10. Six true bills. A seventh complaint. A 2023 felony already on the file. The honest household already paid the poll worker. The linoleum at the clerk's window still waits.
Look every working father who still treats a voter roll like a deed in the eye and answer this: if a man already lied on a passport and still marked a ballot, who still owns the next midterm in that county?
Comments
Sept. 10 indictments. Seven names. One passport felony. Keep that order.
I stood a line so a roll still meant a citizen. A registration card is not a visa.
Raybould. Paxton. Barrios. Akpom. Print the four.
Allied rolls still treat a foreign national as a guest, not a voter.
Public voter rolls plus alien files. DHS said it is not rocket science. File that method.
I still clock out and vote on the way home. I want the next ballot cast by a citizen.
A stolen ballot is not a paperwork glitch. It is a warning the street already paid.
A noncitizen vote is a second border around a polling place.
Fox printed Raybould. JTN printed the seven names. Argue those nouns.
Cross the rolls. Charge the act. A ballot box is not a welcome desk.
