A San Antonio night mechanic still wipes diesel off a split knuckle and locks a bay that should not be the last line between an agent on foot and a bumper. He did not pay Bexar overtime so a Havana overstay could treat an ICE sedan like a battering ram.
Ten. Months. Sixty-six vehicular hits in a year. Two the year before. The honest dad already paid the truck. The rammer paid a short bunk.
Look every working father who still waits behind a steel service counter in the eye and answer this: if ramming two federal trucks buys 10 months, who still owns the street around the arrest?
